About the club

Built in Seacroft. Powered by its people.

From a handful of kids on a local pitch to a club the whole of Seacroft can call its own — this is who we are and how we got here.

Our story

A club born from its community

SCOT FC — Seacroft Community On Top — was founded in 2022 by parents and volunteers who wanted one simple thing: proper football for the young people of Seacroft, run by the community, for the community. No trials to fear, no huge fees, no one turned away because of ability.

From that first season on a local pitch, the club has grown rapidly. There are now junior teams from Under-7s right through to Under-14s, girls' football at every level, and women's and men's sides — meaning a player can join at five and stay with the same club, the same friends and the same values into adulthood.

Everything the club does is powered by volunteers: the coaches who give up their evenings, the parents who run the tuck shop and wash the bibs, and the local businesses who sponsor kit. That's what makes SCOT FC less a club and more a family — we aren't just a team, we're family.

Under-7s to Under-9s

Little Lions

First touches, big smiles. Our youngest squads learn the game through fun, friendly sessions where every child gets on the ball every week.

Under-10s to Under-14s

Juniors

Development and competitive league football. Players build skills, confidence and friendships that last well beyond the final whistle.

Girls' teams

Girls' football

Dedicated girls' squads — including our U11s — playing and training in a supportive, ambitious environment where the girls' game is growing fast.

Adult teams

Women's & Men's

Open-age football for players who want to keep pulling on a SCOT shirt — competitive, social and rooted in the same community spirit.

Every age group runs on volunteer coaches, and new players are welcome at any time of the season. Full session times and venue details live on our Teams & Training page.

The people behind the club

Run by volunteers. Proud of it.

SCOT FC runs entirely on volunteers. Behind every session, every match day and every fundraiser stands a group of people who simply love seeing local kids play football. No experience is needed to start — we mentor new helpers and support them through their FA coaching badges.

Club secretary

Handles registrations, correspondence and the paperwork that keeps a grassroots club compliant and organised.

Treasurer

Manages the club's finances, budgets and fundraising so subs stay low and football stays affordable for every family.

Welfare & safeguarding officer

Our safeguarding lead makes sure every child plays in a safe, supportive environment and is the point of contact for any welfare concern.

Team coaches

Lead each squad's sessions and match days, supported by assistants — many of them parents who started out carrying the kit bag.

Volunteer coordinators

Co-ordinate match-day refreshments, fundraising events and the small army of helpers every club needs.

Volunteer with us

Every extra pair of hands makes a difference.

Safe. Supportive. Everyone's responsibility.

Safeguarding statement

SCOT FC is committed to safeguarding and protecting every child and adult at risk involved with the club. We believe football should be fun, inclusive and safe for everyone, and we follow the FA's safeguarding policies and best practice at all times.

All of our coaches and volunteers working with young people are DBS-checked and complete appropriate safeguarding training. Our club welfare officer is the first point of contact for any concern about a child's welfare or wellbeing — concerns can be raised confidentially at any training session, through the contact form on this site, or directly to any coach or committee member.

We take every concern seriously and act on it promptly. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility at SCOT FC.

Ready to be part of it?
